My son had been sleeping like an angel since eight o'clock and then around midnight, restlessness made way to a couple blood curdling screams once he realized we were out of rice milk. Attempts to calm him with other beverages in a cup with a lid didn't work and he pitched a full fledged fit.
As I attempted to rock our lil guy, my husband slipped on some shoes, fumbled for his keys and fled the house in search of an open grocery store. My son didn't settle until ten minutes later when his dad returned with a half gallon of milk. After a few swigs, our tot was back in a sound slumber. Does your child have a poison that puts him back to sleep?

Breastmilk. *lol* Once the older ones were nightweaned, we didn't usually offer anything during the night unless they were sick. During the dry months we'll keep a cup of water next to their beds, but they rarely use it.
1Oh dear
That sounds awful.
2My daughter is two and it's all about apple juice or apple crystal light. She cannot sleep without her nightly half cup.
3no, they all sleep like babies..it would be a cold day in hell when i would go to the store for something for my kid in the middle of the night unless it was an emergency or for medicine.
4it's not liquid...it's my arms...when he wakes himself up and starts crying I can't get him to lay back down while I sing him a song. Oh no...he wants to be rock. But it doesn't bother me really. They're only that small once right.
