Matt Damon said his daughters — Gia, Isabella and Alexia — will know about the less fortunate as he plans to expose them to the realities of the world. Do you consciously do this with your children?

Of course.
1My children know that we have more than some people, but less than others. They're grateful for what they have, I think. They've been exposed to people with difficulties thru their brother's illness, he attended Easter Seals for a long time, and they understan that everyone is different. I think my youngest will probably work with developmentally delayed or disabled people later in life. She has such compassion for others at such a young age.
2Robin,
My SIL works at an Easter Seals. She is getting her ABA Cert.
I am considering working there this upcoming year. I am an education major and I am considering a masters in special education. I'm going to help out in order to make sure it is what I want to do before I go through a master's program.
And to answer the question, yes, when we have kids we'll make sure they know about the less fortunate and how to help.

Easter Seals was a Godsend for us. I can see the difference in him
and some ofthe other children that weren't in specialized programs. And they loved him so much. It takes really special people to do that
4My husband takes our girls on a Meals on Wheels route to the elderly and handicapped. They are 4 and 6 and have their own little name badges and get to go in and gather up the meals and then deliver them with their dad.
