You can love your spouse, but hope your children do not take after him. Or you can adore just about everything he does. A friend recently told me that she thought certain things her husband did weren't a big deal until they had kids and she realized that he was passing down his less than admirable ways to their offspring. Whether it's qualms about your man being messy or a daredevil, could you live with your husband and his mini mes?

We have three very girlie girls right now, but I'm pregnant with a boy, and I'd really like Theo to be like Eamon. Eamon's loves soccer (funny that the picture is the Beckham boys) and really wants Theo to love the sport too!
1There are absolutely some traits of my husband's that I hope our children don't get, but I'm sure he feels the same way about some of mine.
2I live happily with my husband, I don't know why I wouldn't want to live with a miniature version of him. But my older son is my husband's mini-me and my younger son in my mini-me. I wonder where my daughter will fall.
3I hope they take after him in almost every way, honestly. When it comes to personality, my husband is one of the smartest, most level-headed people I know. And I sure as heck hope the kids take after him genetically! I'm a total genetic mess - greasy thin hair, horrible acne even in my mid-20's, thyroid problems... My husband, on the other hand, has supermodel hair without even trying, barely knows what a zit even is, and his only health concern isn't hereditary. The only place I got the better deal was that my teeth were straighter - but teeth are easily corrected.
So, by all means, kiddos, take after Daddy! Lol.
4I'm hoping the little one will take after his dad in his love of all things water. I'm terrified of the ocean (which sucks since we live at the beach) and rarely touch my toes in.
5my younger 2 both got his aptitude to learn foreign languages and the youngest got his natural math ability too. both got his athletic coordination. it's worked out pretty well
but the middle one is fiercely competitive like him, and he encourage it, which i don't like.
just do YOUR best and let the others worry about themselves.
6I agree completely with psterling
but mainly my husband is the pickiest eater I know, and I'm terrified our kids will pick up after him and I'll be stuck eating spaghetti the rest of my life.
7I would love it if my son turned out like my husband with the exception of one thing, my husband can a bit too robotic and non-chalant when it comes to compassion for others. I wish my husband cared a little more about things like that, but he's working on it. That's just how he was raised I guess. So I hope my son is more like me in that respect.
8My husband is one of the most intelligent and talented people I know. I would love for our kids to take after him in almost every aspect of his physical, emotional, and mental being.
