Even the toughest, must organized, levelheaded, multi-taskers can be exhausted by motherhood. Be it the sleep deprivation, the endless energy it takes to run after toddlers or mental strength that's essential in dealing with tweens — raising children can humble even the most calm, cool and collected women. Did you ever experience an overwhelming moment...or month?

This morning is a perfect example, no sleep, coming down with a cold, had to change my shirt because my two year old used my shoulder as a tissue while I was comforting him.
1i can't believe that there are two people that actually answered 'no' to this question.... do they have full-time nannies???
2Umm take this morning for example
I have locked myself in the office while my husband tends to the bickering.
3Even though my daughter is still only four months old, there are days when I am overwhelmed! I'm still in the transition stage from knowing I am going to have a baby to having one and getting used to everything that comes with her. Wouldn't trade her for the world, but yes, some days I am definitely overwhelmed!
4Well... yeah. Of course. Just like some days my job overwhelmed me before I had kids. Or school overwhelmed me before I was married. Sometimes life is just overwhelming, and being solely responsible for small children is obviously going to add up.
5I can see "no" answers from those with young kids, though. I honestly didn't find the first year of my oldest son's life overwhelming because I was still on such a high from becoming a mom that I breezed through.
6I am not a mom but I get overwhelmed just looking at other mothers!
73 kids aged 4 and under? oh yeah.
8i can see "no" answers from women who have forgotten. my mil has almost no memory of the early days. my husband and his brother remember being put to bed at 7:00 because "mom is tired even if you aren't" until the oldest was 9
9Sometimes the overwhelming doesn't hit until later, too. My sister had no feelings of being overwhelmed the first few years, even after having twins, making it four kids under the age of 5. But then it all hit at once. I think I prefer my way of having it hit earlier but less severe. *lol*
10Great slogan lickety. We follow that rule around here, for the little ones at least.
11I wasn't really overwhelmed with my first son at all. That unfortunately didn't prepare me very well for having the second. I just had a mini meltdown yesterday. A teething unhappy baby can take a toll on ones composure.
I like the "mom is tired even if you aren't" that seems a bit nicer than my "I'm done being a mom for the night"
12Yes..... I've had my moments of being overwhelmed, but more than anything, I love being a mother.
13I wouldn't say that the entire thing has been overwhelming, but as a woman who's about to have four kids under six, I know overwhelming well.
