Diaper bags can get overstuffed with junk in no time. In an effort to keep them tidy and manageable, I have started to use some convenient disposable diaper bags by Bags on Board. I know what you're thinking. . . they look like the baggies people use to collect dog poop. Well, you're right. Made by the same people who make doggie and cat trash bags, the diaper bags are tightly rolled up into a fist sized container that clips onto the diaper bag strap or stroller frame making them a cinch to snag in a stinky moment.
The next time you're lunching at your friend's house and Junior has an accident, you won't be embarrassed to hand her a heaping diaper. Instead, the messy nappy will be discreetly stashed away in a scented bag that never even made it into your orderly diaper bag!

I'm not very green but that seems wasteful.
1I kept these around for travel purposes only - strictly for when I was at someone's house and my son had a nasty diaper. I would usually try to take the diaper to their outside garbage if possible but there are occasions when that is difficult and these do come in handy! They contain the mess and the smell. I never like to leave someone's bathroom or kitchen garbage smelling like my kid's poop!
2I just keep the Target/grocery bags in the diaper bag.
3We used these with our son. This is totally funny, because they were the "doggie" ones. But, perfect in the diaper bag for when you're in a public restroom and they don't have covered trash cans. Nice to be able to contain a *stinky* one or the like. And around the house, if we had a real bad one and garbage day was still a ways off, we'd double bag the stinker as to not offend too many neighborly senses.
4These were great for cloth diapers! I guess now somebody makes washable ones for cloth diapers, but we used dog ones that were supposed to be biodegradable. Maybe our green points evened out. No nasty diapers in the land fill, but a couple extra plastic bags a week!
