Many newborns enter the world with blue eyes and they often quickly change into a darker shade or a different color all together. As eye color tends to settle in around six months, they are still apt to change as the melanin continues to develop.
If you look around a room, chances are over 50 percent of the people have brown eyes while blue and green will make up the rest. I'm curious to know how many of you have brown, green, blue, or other-eyed babes.

Both my bambino's have chestnut brown eyes.
1They're all blue. But what do posters with more than one child and more than one eye color do to vote?
2I voted hazel for my oldest, but my 2 year old has very blue eyes and my 3 mo. old is undetermined.
Please do another poll, babysugar, to account for siblings.
3My lil cutie has grey eyes. They run in my husband's family. It was very frustrating to wait for her eyes to change from the slate color she was born with, but it never happened. They are amazingly unique and she gets compliments on them all the time.
4My daughter has HUGE blue eyes. I'm not sure if they'll change to green (like me!) or if they're going to stay. Apparently, I had blue eyes until I was 18 months, so who knows what she'll end up with.
5My older son has the brightest blue eyes ever. The youngest are gray but starting to get a little hazel.
6All three have brown, just like their Dad.
7my daughter has the bluest eyes ever we constantly get compliments on them.
8She's got gorgeous blue eyes.
9My daughter and my stepson both have brown eyes just like my husband........
10He has grey eyes, like his mommy!
11Both kids have grey eyes, which weirds me out because their dad is Japanese. I always thought brown was dominant.
12I'm shocked that my son still has blue eyes. My eyes are dark brown, and even though my husband's are blue, I just figured the baby would inherit my dark, dominant eyes. What a fun surprise! Although I suppose they could still change, but I'm doubting it at 9 months.
13My lil lady C (10 mo) has hazel eyes. She had dark gray/blue up until around 4 months; then dark green and now brown in the inside with dark green outer. So we just say hazel. Daddy has blue eyes and I have brown. Eyecolor genetics is so fascinating, anything can happen!
14my kids have big beautiful brown eyes
15The oldest and youngest have blue, and the middle has brown.
16they're green that sometimes look blue... he's almost a year and they havent changed, altho everyone kind of thought they'd wind up dark brown like his daddy's... they still could i suppose. it's kind of nice that the green wound up dominate over the brown in him (knockin wood)!
17Both of my kids have blue eyes, but my husband and I both have hazel.
18no kids yet (I just like lil sugar
) but I will be curious to see we have a mixture
in my fam of brown (we def out number the others), blue, and hazel
19grey
20Our lil guy isn't here yet, but as my hubby and I both have brown eyes, I'm thinking he probably will too.
21My Son's are a striking blue, just like my Husband.
