The introduction of the Clek Olli and Oobr boosters pretty much revolutionized the booster seat world. Now the Canadian company is doing it again with the Foonf, their first convertible car seat. Handling children from about 6 months old up to 65 pounds (rear-facing up to 45 pounds), the seat looks don't play second fiddle to its safety features. Featuring the company's signature rigid latch system (it easily connects to the LATCH hooks in cars without having to fumble to tighten it), the stain-resistant Crypton fabric, and a narrow design that will allow for three seats in a backseat greater than 51 inches, the seat seems to have it all. Most interesting is an antirebound bar (used when the seat is rear-facing) to prevent the seat from rolling up during a collision. The seat is currently available for pre-order and will ship beginning in June.
