Five travel system reviews and the cheapest was $550. I have a Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe travel system and it was $239.00. I would be more than happy to review it for those Moms who would appreciate spending a bit less. I can't believe that a small army of travel systems has such limited choices.

I totally agree with you Mommy of Three. How about reviewing something more affordable "for the rest of us"? I have the Graco MetroLite and love it. I was also about $239. I'd be happy to write about it too!

I was thinking the same thing once it all came together. A "vast assortment" of strollers that really isn't vast or much of an assortment.

Gotta jump on the previous post bandwagon. Our Chicco Cortina/KeyFit travel system is top notch - the nurses at the hospital said they'd seen every make and model roll through their halls and considered it "the Cadillac of infant car seat systems." ...and it was under $300.

Sure, Jessica Alba probably isn't rocking one, but it's worked great for us, and I'd choose it all over again.

Seriously....who can afford these travel systems??

MommyofThree, I have the same Graco Travel System and I LOVE it! It's cheaper than the other trendy looking stuff and got high scores for safety according to the nhtsa. If it's cheaper and just as safe, why not?

I was seriously disappointed to see that not even one of the systems reviewed here was even remotely affordable! However, I am happy to see that so many of you like the Graco travel system that I registered for. = )

The prices on these systems are ridiculous. The cheapest you reviewed was $550? Maybe you should consider your audience in the next round of reviews?

We had a Graco travel system with our boys as well, and loved it.

I have the buzz and I love it. It's very sturdy and the only stroller I'll need. Most of our friends and co-workers have gone through 3 or 4 strollers before they were done spending way more than the cost of the buzz. We got it on sale, tax-free, a rebate, and free shipping. It's folds up very small so you can have the stroller, the dog and groceries all in the back of the car.

And MotoLinz too. How is the Chicco Cortina/KeyFit working out?

Akpril - We used the KeyFit infant carrier/seat for a full year, and we had no problems with it. It is ridiculously easy to install, strap a wriggling kid into, and otherwise generally just use. It took our son from 6 lbs. at birth to his first birthday, and he was a biggun at that point. We'll use it again for our next arrival in early March. We've gone lots of places and washed the pads and liners a few times, and it still looks brand new.

The Cortina stroller was great with the carrier because we could transfer him without waking him (and, again, it was crazy easy to use) - and, now that he's been out of the carrier for 8 months, we can still put him in the stroller because it's big enough to accommodate him for a while. (It also fits in the trunk of my Accord, which is a bonus.)

All in all, we've been really, really, really pleased with the Chicco system. I recommended it to a friend who had her baby in early June, and she and her husband have adored theirs just as much.

Has anyone tried the Maxi Cosi system? It looks a lot like the expensive systems LilSugar reviewed but seems to cost a lot less.

I hadn't revisited this post until now. My Quattro tour came with the Snugride car seat. It is easy to snap on the stroller and so transfer was easy when my baby was sleeping. My daughter fit in the Snugride for a year. The stroller itself has two parent cup holders, 2 mini storage containers, and a temperature gauge/clock. The storage basket is roomy enough to hold a big diaper bag and winter coat. The stroller seat has 3 positions, including lying flat for when napping. The stroller folds with the push of a button and twist of the handle. It is a big stroller but when folded it fits fine both in the trunk of our Ford Focus or cargo area of our Buick Enclave. One drawback - it is a heavy stroller, mine weighs about 25 pounds, but it is easy to push. I have had mine for 2 years and it is still in great shape. I walk everyday with the stroller and have not felt the need to upgrade to a jogging stroller. My daughter just turned two and she fits fine.
