Last week, actor Jerry O'Connell told Late Night talk show host Conan O'Brien that his expectant wife, Rebecca Romijn, was huge. Pregnant ladies expect zingers from strangers or friends, but they somehow seem tougher to swallow when they come from your spouse. Realizing the error of his ways, the goofy dad-to-be told People:
I regret calling my wife 'huge' on Conan O'Brien. I meant to say that there are specific areas of my wife that are larger than normal and growing every day. All other portions of my wife are quite petite. I apologize to her and will be coming home with flowers.
Did your hubby make any regrettable remarks during your pregnancy?

Although we are not pregnant yet I am fully expecting him to make more than one blunder. Sometimes he just loses his filter and the first thing to hit his brain just flies right out of his mouth!!
1Yeah and I make them about him. It's a face of life. I honestly don't consider "My wife is huge" to be a blunder, though. She's pregnant with twins, and I'm guessing she herself says "I look huge!" often.
My husband was the only one thoughtful enough to tell me I looked huge. I LOVED hearing it and wanted people to look at me in shock and say "Wow you look ready to pop!!!" But I never got big enough to get it, so my husband nicely told me often during my last trimester that I was huge.
2"Fact" of life, not face of life. *lol*
3I went to visit my parents for 10 days without my husband while I was at the beginning of my second trimester. The first time my husband saw me after that he didn't even say hi, just omg you got huge! I was laughing so hard I couldn't get mad, even though his mom looked pretty mad.
4I really don't think what he said was bad. I think it normally has to do with context as well. If he says you look huge with a horrible look on his face that's different. I was HUGE so if he would have told me I wasn't I would have known he was lying
5No never. My husband knew better than to screw around with pregnancy hormones LOL.....Seriously, he was awesome during my pregnancy. He took such excellent ,loving care of me.
But I did have a few strangers come up to me while I was in my last trimester and ask if I was expecting twins because my stomach was so "huge". It never really bothered me. It didn't feel at all to me like it was meant as an insult.I was very proud of my belly and I loved being pregnant.
6don't remember, wouldn't care if he had. she's pregnant with twins, isn't she supposed to be huge? that would be what's best for the children, a nice big belly. would she be flattered if he said she looked anorexic and had a flat tummy? maybe this is the next awful hollywood trend "skinny pregnant women", extra points for multiples in pregnancy, yuck.
7my hubby told a dinner table full of people that I was as big as a truck. I thought it was hysterical. Everyone at the table's mouths dropped in horror but he just puts his foot in his mouth from time to time and I thought it was funny.
8My ex said I was as big as a whale with my first pregnancy...and he said to me AND his entire family at Thanksgiving dinner. I was so upset.
9He didn't say that, but to be honest it wouldn't have bothered me if he did. I was huge.
10Oh my lord, did my hubby make a terrible blunder! When I was pregnant, my biggest food aversions were pecans and cinnamon roasted anything. On Christmas, my mom's friend had dropped off a present for her, and it happened to be a box of cinnamon roasted pecans. I was sitting on the couch and my husband said "Hey honey, look! PECANS!" It was like a scene out of a TV show where the person just went running with their hand covering their mouth. I could hear him outside the bathroom going "I'm so so so so so so so so so sorry!" I laugh now, but DAMN was I read to kill him!

good one ladylila!
12The night after giving birth to my son, while the nurse was attending to us, my husband asked her "when is that going to go away?" referring to the "pouch" you have for a while after giving birth. I wasn't really offended, he was not trying to be insulting, he was just curious.
