The natural c-section sounds interesting. I have no desire to do it, but I think it'd be a good option for those who want to see. I don't know how the "contractions" would work for c-sections not performed as an emergency, though.
1I have no problem discipling my nieces and nephews but i would never do it to a strangers kid.
2I don't discipline children not in my care. If a child's doing something like hitting my kid, I'll step in and ask them to stop while I remove my child, but I don't consider that disciplining, just protecting my own child.
In a situation as described in the link, I'd never step in. I'd simply pick up the trash myself.
3I can definitely say after 2 C sections, I never had mine video taped because both my kids were born via emergency C section. So there was no time to set up cameras.
When I was pregnant with my son Jeff, I watched an actual C section video that was on the discovery channel 14 years ago. It was grisly, but after the baby was pulled out it was a beautiful scene.
4They've offered to put up a mirror for the second two c-sections so we can see, or my husband's welcome to stand and watch over the drape. We're not interested.
