I don't totally agree with the blood one. Some women probably shouldn't, but it doesn't mean you absolutely can't. I'm one who can't - even when not pregnant or breastfeeding, I have to do a "short pint" or I pass out. But I know women who can safely and have done so with the full knowledge of their doctor.

I wouldn't have bowled either.

I once went to a dentist who would not clean my teeth while I was pregnant. I found a new dentist after that. I did bowl while I was pregnant, but since I bowled regularly before I was pregnant it was no problem.

The bowling question got me. I never bowled while pregnant because my doctor had told me not to lift heavy objects. I would think a bowling ball is a heavy object...

A bowling ball's only like 8-10 lbs.

I was told I had stricter guidelines on "heavy objects" due to preterm contractions with my second, and even that was only 25 lbs or more. With my third, I was fine picking up my son who weighed about 38 lbs.

The swinging motion of bowling is why I wuoldn't. I can see pulling at my belly area when I swung back.

I don't agree with the bikini wax because I've heard that because your hormones are wacky it effect the way your skin is. Some women have gotten 2nd degree burns or have had their skin taken off.

I hurt my butt when I was pregnant and decided bowling that sounds like fun. Yeah well I fell and it hurt. I don't think I'll go bowling when I'm pregnant again.
