It seems that almost anything can be done over the Internet. Mothers Madeline Robb and Megan Santos have never met, but since their children were born on the same day, the two became pen pals sharing advice and photos of their tots over email. Madeline noticed a shadow on lil Rowan's eyes in the pictures suggested Megan to take her daughter to get it checked. Her advice likely saved the girl's life.

Whoa, that is amazing!
1
Oh my goodness what an amazing story!
2Great story!
Does anyone else keep getting logged out? It's driving me nuts, I have to log in at least twice a day, and the page takes FOREVER to load.
3Wow! I really hope those two get to meet soon. Oprah should get on that.
Yep, me too, Greggie. It's been doing it for a few days. Sucky!
4
I haven't had any logging issues.
5what a beautiful story, i too am having that problem at least once a day
6greggie, what browser are you using?
7I use IE and it started with me a couple days ago as well. It used to keep me logged in as long as I was posting regularly.
This would seriously make a great segment on Oprah!
8Same thing happened to me. PM TeamSugar and let them know. They are working on a fix.
I started using Firefox (free download on the internet) and it works much better now. Here is a link to another thread where it was all discussed if you want to know more:

Good luck!
9Wow that's some story...... truly amazing!
I've also been having the same logging out issue for the last couple of days now and it's annoying the crap out of me.
10i have firefox and it is doing the same, me too greggie as long as i was commenting regularly i would stay logged in
11pinkprincess, do this:
1. Click on Firefox and Preferences
2. Under Content tab, make sure both JavaScript and Enable Java are enabled
3. Under Privacy tab, within the cookie section click on exceptions and make sure to remove any of the sugar sites
4. Click on Tools and Clear Private Data.
5. Check cache and cookies and clear!
I had the same probs with Firefox too at first. Now I have no problems. Let TeamSugar know about this stuff though. Lots of people are reporting the same. Maybe they will post a "problems and solutions" note somewhere!
12I still use Safari and don't really want to switch over to Firefox. I have it and all, but just haven't had time to import my bookmarks and check it out in detail yet. But more and more sites are making it a near necessity. Ugh.
13schnappycat, does the site not work in safari?
14That is an amazing story!
15Martini, I keep getting logged out, too. Several times a day for the past few days. I figured it was just me (I often have random computer issues), so at least it's not that.
16sorry, schnappycat...no fix for safari.
17PM TeamSugar and let her (him? them?) know, so they can tell you what to do.
Thanks Martini! I'll try Firefox although I'd only use it for this site. It'd be worth it though.
18Wow, what an amazing story!
19I just installed Firefox and the page loads so much more quickly! I'll have to see if it keeps me logged in as well.
20Greggie, if it doesn't see my comment #12 above. that is the fix if it doesn't!
21Amazing story!
22great story!
23wow..no words can i think of...just tears. (happy ones!)
24Angel in disguse! Aww what a touching story.
25What an amazing story! I want more details on the condition and what it looks like. One never knows ya know?
26A very similar thing happened to me. I belong to an moms' group online and one of the mothers noticed that I had strapped my son into his car seat incorrectly in photo I'd posted of him. (I had the chest snaps too low.) She let me know and I fixed it. A couple of weeks later, I was in a car accident! That change saved my son from injury. I was so thankful for her letting me know about that!
27I always feel weird pointing out things like the chest clip because in my experience, people get really angry and resist the advice. I'm glad to hear that you listened and are grateful for her letting you know, Coldplayer.
