There comes a time in every kid's growth when he or she graduates from the highchair to adult chairs (with a little booster, of course!). The Yellow Pages Booster Seat ($22) offers a fresh take on the old fashioned phone book trick, but it does seem like a costly alternative to using a stack of paper. The good news is, it's light, so kids can carry it around themselves and it has little grooves for comfortable, slide free sitting. Would you let your tot sit pretty in it?

lol I'd just use the real yellow pages.
1haha i'd probably just use the regular yellow pages too.
2The regular yellow pages slide to the side and the cover's really slippery. I don't use them as a booster, but I doubt I'd use this either. I like the ones that look like little chairs, with a back to them.
3No, I think it's pointless. Sorry not for me.
4We have this booster seat which is awesome! Babysmart Cooshie Booster

It is from Babies R Us. Our kitchen chairs are low and our table is high so this is perfect. My kids don't slip out and it's co
5Neh, I didn't like the one time my father-in-law set her up on the phone books either. She thinks she's a big kid, so she doesn't need any of that crap to sit in a chair next to me.
6That's the one I was thinking of, podcastermom. Mine both needed bosters for awhile if they wanted to sit safely at the table.
7LOL, I had to laugh at this post when I saw it! Whenever my nephew comes over our place, we have to use the phonebook for him to sit on when we're at the table because we don't have a booster seat for him here! Too funny...
8reminds of the story my mother in law tells me....when my husband when a toddler...she would take the yellow pages and sew a cover for them and use them as booster seats in the car....this was...76'..77'..
....yikes
9My mom used to use them for HERSELF in the car. *lol* We're only 4'11" and the cars on the 70s were big and it was difficult to see adequately. She actually had a notation on her driver's license that she needed to be sitting on something that boosted her up a few inches. She'd either use the phone book or a flotation pad used for boating.
10That is so adorable and funny!!!
11that's cute
