Pregnant women have long given birth in fields, at home, and in the tub, but one California mom delivered on her front lawn. According to a report, Jessica Higgins was driving home from a shopping trip with her 2-year-old son when her 34-week-old fetus decided it was time to debut.
The 36-year-old woman got home, called 911, and allowed her tot to stay sleeping in the backseat of the car while she pushed her lil princess out without assistance. Weighing in at 5 pounds, 11 ounces, Mary Claire had a most memorable birth. Police arrived to find the mom cradling her daughter in the driveway and the father came in time to cut the umbilical cord.

I am not trying to be sarcastic here, and i agree that this woman is amazing, but natural childbirth isnt something that should be news, we as a society have turned our backs on the real way of giving birth, so that when one takes a natural course we are "amazed" ? its sad really, we blab about womens rights and women being strong yet we allow doctors and the hospital businesses to tell us how to have our own children.

3strong lady! I know I don't want to have my future children au natural and i'll be pleading for the epidural asap!... and I'm not ashamed to say that... I saw my niece enter the world and I saw my poor sister's face and heard her cries to my mom loud and clear!
