Preparing for baby number two has got me nesting and reconfiguring nurseries and bedrooms. Not wanting to spend a huge amount on another glider, I started searching for a comfortable yet modern rocker for my toddler's bedroom. If I had the extra money, I might splurge on the sassy brown swank chair, as the padded arms look quite comfy. But my thrifty brain steers me otherwise.
Simple: At $149, Ikea's Lillberg rocker would suit a traditional, modern or artsy type child's room. Add some punch to the white cushions with sprightly decorative pillows.
Swank: If money is no object, the $900 Sleepytime Rocker is sure to send your tot into sweet dreams. The microsuede fabric makes it easy to clean and cozy to lounge on. If brown doesn't suit your fancy, you can have it custom made with the upholstery of your choosing.

1I tried out the Sleepytime rocker and didn't find it that comfy. I opted for the similarly-styled, but much more comfy Monte Luca rocker. I love it! But I definitely wish I had an IKEA near me.

4I have the Ikea rocker, no kids. It doesn't rock very well, I don't think I'd buy it for rocking a baby. Love the Nurseryworks chair.
