It's amazing how well kids clean up. It doesn't matter if your son likes to play in the dirt or run the field, the easiest way to dress him up is with a classic oxford shirt. So button him up for back-to-school or outfit him in some Sunday best with the long sleeved wardrobe staple.
Simple: The single pocket chambray blue button up ($10) from Old Navy is a steal.
Swank: This one pocket blue shirt wonder ($58) from Peek...Aren't You Curious has subtle red accent stitching.
Which one fits your young man's fancy?

Naf Naf
Jil Sander
Rieker
Neither. We get the $6 ones from Walmart that don't wrinkle.
Neither of them would wear them to school unless there was a presentation, though. I don't see any reason to put them in anything other than loose, comfortable clothing. My younger son does want to wear a shirt and tie the first day of kinder but it'll be way too hot. *lol*
1i'd wait till the old navy one was on sale... i dont even pay $58 for ME anymore... altho for a gift for someone... i'd spend it.
2I like the look of the Swank one better for more casual occasions but could not justify the $58 tab. I'm sure after a wash, the Old Navy one would look a little more like the swank one anyway. Both cute!
