I think each one suits the moms. Their both in different situations and that's just fine.

In fact, that is what I did when people came over to meet both of my kids after they were born - it was low key, I was in comfy clothes, I think I took a shower and that's about it. Minus, of course, People magazine, the photographers & journalist!

To each her own. I think both pictures are really nice. BUT I wouldn't want to be photographed in my nightgown -- I'm too modest for that.

If you are paid $14million for a photoshoot & you have stylists on hand; I'd think you could run a brush through your hair and put on a sweatsuit at a minimum. Angelina is trying too hard to create an image... I'm not buying it. All the kiddos (JLo's & Angelina's) are darling though no matter what they are dressed in:)

Angelina looks like any new mother...no makeup, messy hair (brad too) and just beaming as they look at their new babies. No fuss, no haute couture nursery photos...just like normal people. I love that about them.

I like them both, and agree that they are two totally different people with different images. my complaint is that in the jolie-pitt photo, they are both looking at one baby. they should each look at one baby or at the camera, poor baby on the left isnt being doted on. i know I may be picky but thats still my opinion.

by the way- even though it says angelina has no make up on, I am sure she does. lip gloss and mascara at least, make up artists are pros at making someone look like they have no make up on, when they do in fact have some on.

I would be perfectly happy to go "no makeup" (totally agree with joy in that there is definitely some makeup on angie!) if I had professional photographers and the beauty of photoshop to work to my advantage.

I totally agree that it's all good that they went with different styles. Different women, different lives and that's OKAY.

I do feel a little like I'm having a "brand" pushed on me with both of them though. THe Brangelina brand is a little over the top annoying/perfect with the all white clothes (even Shiloh) and mother earth biz. (yea yea yea we all know you still wear primarily couture and have professionals style you). Similarly with JLo, her "brand" is over the top, bling, in your face. It's equally annoying because you KNOW she spends time in sweat pants and no makeup.

Neither image is truly real. Oh and for the record, to me they all look like babies. I can't believe how much the magazines make and spend on these pictures.

I still don't know why People paid 6 million for JLo's baby pics, she isn't really relevant and she has a loser husband.

I like the Jolie-Pitt spread more than JLo's but I liked Harlow's spread the best.

I really didn't like JLo's spread when it came out. She is so overly made-up and posed that its looks like she's just displaying the latest accessories. She seems more concerned with how good she looks, rather than a proud new mom.

I'm more Angelina's route - in fact, I'm not wearing any make up today (and I'm at work). I did brush my hair and change out of my P.J.'s, but you know, somehow, shorts and a tiny tank doesn't seem office appropriate. LOL.

I'm sure AJ put on mascara and lip grease and brushed her hair. (God her hair grows fast!) I don't get how this is a nightgown. It looks like a summer dress to me. I think they all looked like they were in their jammies, except Brad who went to the door, let the photographer in and told Pax to put on some pants. LOL! But then it looks like Zahara had a costume change to something more girlie.

Well i kinda feel the pictures are a bit staged, but I like them both equally...Jennifer looks more done up and stuff but Angelina has Brad with her....but they are both good for each person....

Skeletor needs all the help he can get and J loves herself so much she wouldn't ever go the matronly route. I am puzzled by the nightgown simplicity A went for, but they look soooo happy, J does look like she's showing off her latest accessories! I couldn't agree with that comment more. As for newborns--not all are cute. The Jolie+Pitt combo platter has proven to be a winner once again! Darn those babes are GORGEOUS!!!!!!

Oh, please! Both spreads are cold, hard, calculated publicity. Both families have an army of helpers who do all the work, so it's not like Angelina didn't have the time to put some clothes on if she had been so inclined. I HATE when celebs pimp out their innocent children for stuff like this.

I had to go with Brad and Angie. Honestly, I liked theirs better because they aren't looking at the camera. JLo isn't focused to her kids. Brad and Angie are. And maybe I'm old fashioned, but I like that BOTH Brad and Angie are in the pic. I feel that JLo should have posed with her husband and you know, the father of the kids maybe lol?
