Most children greet cupcakes with a smile from ear to ear. For a jaw dropping and eye popping reaction, trump the regular cupcake with a mongo sized one at your next kiddie soirée. Williams–Sonoma has created the master cupcake mold with the Great Cupcake Pan ($35).
Fill the top and bottom with cake mix or get crafty and use the icing mold for ice cream. Once baked, you can decorate the supersized cupcake with tasty large toppings like Mike and Ikes or Skittles. Talented foodies can test their skills turning the cupcake into a castle or carousel.

This is so neat.
1My sister in law made ice cream cone cakes for her daughter's b-day party. She actually got the recipe from the side of a box of cones she bought. She made vanilla and chocolate ones and iced them in different colors and topped them with a variety of sprinkles. They were an instant hit at the party.
this looks fantastic. Is it a 9in round cake? I need to check this out. It would be great to make this for a centerpiece with regular cupcakes and mini cupcakes all around.
2ohhhhhhhhh I LOVE this....I might have to buy one.
3I have been eying this for a while and have no logical need for it. It's sooo cute!
4This is so cute — my kids would love it!
5this is a really cute idea... but 1 question. Will it cook the cake all the way through?
6I tried to do a rounded cake in a bowl once and it burned the outside and the inside was runny.

8How cute! My only question is how big the slices are because it's so tall.
