People who aren't parents often comment on how expectant women look, but once you've given birth you know there's a look that says, "I'm pregnant" and another that screams, "I'm going to pop!" In my opinion, there are a few tell tale signs of impending labor that aren't in the mommy-to-be books. Feel free to add to the list.
- The glow is replaced by a smirk of exhaustion.
- Ankles are lost to cankles.
- Too full of baby for food.
- The walk becomes a waddle.
- The constant pressure makes you think your babe may slip out when you move.
- Running to pee makes you tired enough to nap.
- You dream of delivering and don't even consider the pain.
- You are excited to slip into the hospital gown.

None of those really apply to me. They're kind of an all-over pregnancy thing, not just the end.
1Your breathing pattern becomes really shallow because you can't take in any air.
2I don't know why but a friend of mine got this weird rash on her arms and legs a week before she gave birth to each of her two girls, each earlier than their due dates. She is due in 3 weeks with her son but the rash is starting to come in so he may be an early baby too.
3I got that rash in my first pregnancy, but it was limited to my wrists. It started around 20 weeks and lasted about two months, and was a total pain in the butt. No one could figure out what it was.
I had a terrible time breathing with my last pregnancy as well, but the last month was Heaven when she dropped and I could take deep breaths again. *lol*
4I hate the "hard to breathe" part! Ug its the worst. Well that and my pelvis feeling like its being ripped apart slowly.
5I think that picture of Kate Hudson was actually taken post-pregnancy.
