Patent leather isn't reserved for models and fashionistas, in fact, designers seem to be pushing mommies into the shiny game.
It's actually the perfect fit for parents: Patent is durable, easy to wipe stains off of and in my humble opinion, never goes out of style.
I like this faux patent LeSportsac diaper bag ($140) because it's reasonably priced, simple and looks like it could withstand being thrown around.

I like the styles of some, but I think the black patent (or fake as it may be) looks like garbage bags. I'm also not in a financial situation where $140 for a diaper bag is "reasonable" though.
