Wee TV: Jon and Kate Plus 8

Three is the magic number. At least, that's what the Gosselins discovered on last night's episode of Jon and Kate Plus 8. Since the twins, Cara and Madelyn, were at school, Jon and Kate realized that splitting the sextuplets in half allowed each parent to spend quality time with their threesome and enjoy the simple luxuries of everyday life like popping tots in the car for an outing.

While the guys headed out for a game of golf, the girls ran out for groceries and did a baking project. Just when you thought it couldn't get much cuter than the three lil ladies — Alexis, Leah, and Hannah — grinning around the kitchen, the show cut to the boys — Collin, Aaden, and Joel — at the golf course cruising around in a cart, and running around the course letting off steam. The parents have never looked so relaxed and the kids have never been so quiet. While I love the banter and chaos of the Gosselins's everyday life, whether you have two kids or 20, having less than the lot seems to make certain tasks much more manageable.

Are there activities or errands you only do with one or some of your children?

I love how Jon just lets the boys run around while he played. The kids are very well behaved so he really had nothing to worry about. These kids get cutier and cutier each episode.

my roommate Sara knows the Gosselin family quite well since they live near her in PA and Jon's dad used to be their dentist. The girls have stayed over at their place when Jon and Kate have gone away a few times and she says the girls are sooo cute. I love this show.

I love this show and I am not even a parent. It's really cool to see how they deal with eight kids and the mayhem it brings.

We have four children--the oldest now lives with his girlfriend (we have a big age difference between number one and two), and they all cherish special time with mum or dad. When I have to run out to the store, it's a battle for who gets to come. I try and alternate between the three of them. My second son, the eldest at home now, likes that he gets to stay up later than his younger siblings, and he has started watching shows on the Food Network that he knows I like so that he and I can have time together!

I do the grocery shopping when I'm child free, or just have one. Two of them take up the whole cart (or I'm chasing the toddler around the store).

I thought the episode was cute, but hope that Jon takes the girls golfing, too, at some point. Maybe one of them will be the "next Tiger Woods."
