Dads are supposed to protect their offspring, so it's unsettling to think that Harold Bray stole from his children. The Arizona man has been charged with one count of identity theft for using his 8-year-old son's social security number to rent his apartment. The father of two children under 12 used his stepson's social security card to open a cable services account in 2006. At the time of his arrest, Harold's wallet contained a blank check from an ex-girlfriend and both of his kids' social security cards.

Wow, what a scumbag!
1What a complete loser!
2What an idiot!
3I am so glad he was charged! This happened to me, i was sooo pissed! I found out my mom ran up a $1200 bill in my name with the electric company! I was so pissed off, the lady at NSTAR was so nasty to me, i couldn't believe it. I just found this out a couple of months ago and this bill goes back to 1992 so i was 14! I asked don't you check into these things i was a minor and she said no she called with the SS#. I have not spoken to my mom in 5 years as it is so this didn't help things.
4My MIL did this to my husband and his sister, it really sucked when they started getting collection calls at 18.
5Nothing says love like destroying your child's credit before they even have any.
6What kind of parent would do this? So people are just dirtbags and shouldn't have kids.
7My Aunt did this with all three of my cousins, signing them up for credit cards, telephones, and utilities. It's sick and should be more closely investigated.
