Maddox Jolie-Pitt and his kiddie cool fauxhawk kicked off a hair raising trend for Hollywood wee ones and those outside of Tinseltown. Children across the country have cutting edge cuts and sassy hairstyles that have been sheared into shape or gelled up into the 'dos. From retro mohawks to mini mullets, are you impressed or distressed by the tresses?

As long as mom & dad don't mind, let the kid's do what they want! hair grows back...
I love originality! Mohawks are cool for little kids, no prob!
If the child's old enough to want to choose a hair style, maybe. But then, when the child is young, I want to keep fashion and looking cool issues to a minimum. It's bad enough when they teenagers.
i'll pick my battles with my kids...hair is not as important as some of the other things that will come up in life with them.
My son was dying to have a mohawk a few months ago, so I told him the next time he gets his hair cut, he could get one...thinking he'd forget about it. So, when I mentioned he needed a haircut, he was all yippee, I get a mohawk! So, of course, I had to let him get one. I even said, you're not gonna be my handsome little man anymore, he reassured me by saying, "It's only hair mom, it grows back." He's 4! So, he got the mohawk and picked out red hair gel to go with it and I have to be honest, it looks really great on him!
My son is at the age where he is starting to want to do different things with his hair and I am actually really glad. I had no idea what to do with his hair before so I am happy he has his own ideas.
Some new kid's haircuts are very cool (except the mullet which is wrong for all-ages!) If I have a son and he wanted a faux-hawk, I would be fine with that; I think it looks very age appropreiate yet gives some personality.
Give me a break. Hairstyles are nothing nore than a way to express yourself. Express away! Have fun! Unless you really do think the Beetles and their long hair caused all the trouble in the world. If so, you might as well crawl back into your cave.
We've had the mohawk on and off for about a year now.. we love it!!
LOL My Sister-in-Law, who was sixteen at the time, was in the delivery room with me when my daughter was born. When the nurse's where bathing her for the first time she asked them to give Madison a mohawk and they did! It was adorable and it stayed until she was about three months, It just wouldn't lay down.
i think free expression with one's hair is great. i think kids look really cute with their trendy and off the wall hair styles.
Nothing bums me out more than seeing a mohawk on a tiny kid
I don't know why
if i ever pop out kids, it's already known in my family that somehow you'd be able to immediately pick me kid out in the bunch.
mohawk, sure, mullet, absolutely not!
Like the lady's 4 yr old said: It's hair, it grows back. And they are so wee, why should they have to "conform" so early? Most of the time it's really cute - a mohawk, long hair on boys (who look like girls) or short spiky hair... As long as it's not painful for the kid and if it's something really nuts, as long as it's reversible/will grow back, meh, let it happen.
I always think it's the parents trying to make sure everyone knows they're still hip. It makes me roll my eyes.
