In less than a year Nicole Richie has made the unlikely shift from young Hollywood style icon to trendsetting mommy and we love her for it. We've been watching her push her Orbit stroller through Los Angeles recently and though it's not as glamorous as the Silver Cross pram she showed off in Harper's Bazaar, her Orbit deserves functional, yet chic recognition. I adore the Orbit Baby collection because it comes in pieces — a car seat, stroller and base. You can update your baby's ride as he or she grows instead of having to purchase a new stroller. The infant set costs about $900.

Ouch! $900 for a stroller! My sister has been lusting for one of these. I don't think she'll ever get it. Evenflo's are just as functional.
1If I had the cash I would totally buy one of these! I think they are so cool.
2if they wanted to give consumers an incentive to buy the system, they should really think about improving the toddler seat for the stroller... the infant seat is more than impressive, but once your baby outgrows it...the system is a big disappointment!
