Almost a year after announcing their intention to enter the kiddie market, Restoration Hardware introduced its Baby & Child line this week. The line, which includes furniture, bedding, floor coverings, baby clothes, gifts and home accessories is accessible through its own website and catalog. The company plans to introduce it in select stores later this year.
The traditional products mirror the parent company's muted tone, mixing dark browns with baby blues, pastel pinks and neutral sages. Similar in style to its competitors at Pottery Barn Kids and Land of Nod, the pieces are somewhat pricier with cribs ranging from $800 to $1,000.

5DEAR MOMS AND FRIENDS,
DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME AND OR MONEY WITH RESTORATION KIDS LINE. WHEN I FIRST RECEIVED THE CATALOG, I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE BOYS LINE OF BEDDING!!!! MOST OF THE ITEMS I ORDER WENT BACKORDERED AFTER I ORDERED IT OR CAME LATE. THIS PART OF THE COMPANY IS TOTALLY UNORGANIZED!!! NO ONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT TO DO OR WHAT'S IN STOCK. I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT PAYING ALL THE MONEY I DID THE STUFF WOULD ARRIVE ON TIME AND LOOK GREAT!!! DON'T BE FOOLED OR WAIST YOUR MONEY. I'VE BEEN DEALING WITH THEM FOR THREE MONTHS AND I AM DONE WITH THEM. I'M 9 MONTHS PREGNANT AND STILL ONLY HAVE HALF MY ORDER.
