When I had my first boyfriend, we used to say we were "going together." Sometimes my mom inquires about my friends and asks, "Are they still going together?" I blush at her choice of words. Take this test and see how well you know your current kiddie jargon.

Are some of these west coast words? I'm nineteen and have 2 little sisters in elementary school and a brother in high school and have never heard of some of these words.

Ah, a far cry from "rad," "dope", and "phat". I feel rather elderly. Although I almost peed myself yesterday when my 8 year old said that something was "mad cool". Tee hee!

I never heard of wooka. But my husband says sando all the time. He claims he picked that up when he was in college in San Luis Obispo (like 8yrs ago...lol). So I think these might be west coast sayings.

I'm 18 and the only term I've heard used was cheddar. I've seen the word spendy in NYT articles but I've never heard anyone say that. Who the heck says sando??? Now I feel old.
