Do Violet and Maddox set the bar for your wee one's wardrobe? If you see Shiloh sporting her sassy Sweet Shoes or one of the Mahoney twins dressed up in their True Religion dungarees, does it make you want to go out and buy them for your tot?
The Wall Street Journal noticed that mamas are modeling their babes after celebabies the world over. A recent WSJ article dished on one mom concerned with keeping up with the Rossdales. It said:
She bought a $25 pack of camouflage-print socks after seeing rocker couple Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale's 2-year-old son, Kingston Rossdale, knocking around London in his socks. Now, Ms. Collins's son, Jase, who is five months old, 'can be just as hot as any celebrity baby,' his mother says.
I delight in watching Tinseltown's tots grow up, but I don't give much thought to what they wear as I don't have the means to pay for outrageous lil outfits like those Suri sports.

No! Besides they pay way too much for these items IMHO. Babies grow relatively fast and I don't think I want to pay $50 for a pair of pants that he/she will only wear a few times! I find it hard to pay that for my pants
1How absurd.
Not only do I not pay any attention to the celebabies fashion choices, but i have neither the inclination nor the means to copy them.
I remark upon a photo--but that's it.
2Not at all. I mean, if I see something cute on a celebrity baby I may look for it, but the same applies to a baby I see at the supermarket. It has nothing to do with celebrity status.
3not w/regard to clothing.... i like what i like (for boys i swear h&m and old navy ON SALE rocks like no other)... but for certain things, like the ERGO baby carrier (thank you babysugar) that keri russell was rocking recently.... RECENTLY ON LIL SUGAR as a matter of fact... those sort of things, that I havent seen elsewhere... yeah, in that sense yes, i'm affected BUT i agree w/greggie, if i saw it in a supermarket... i would have asked the mom there!
so yes & no? maybe? hahah

no. and actually i think my kids look way cutier in what i put them in. i've seen things that celeb kids have that are similar to what my girls do and i don't like it for some reason. like "get your own idea!" and yet of course they couldn't possibly know what my kids are wearing.
5I don't have kids, but I could not pay $25 for socks for me, that I won't outgrow in a month. I can't imagine paying that for a babe =)
So, I'll say no, I'm not planning on it. Cute is cute with or without celebrity status. If someone at the grocery store paid loads of money for clothing or something like that, I would think they were as nuts as the celebrities paying it, too
6I think that is probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. And honestly I try my hardest to be different myself and try to bring my daughters up to be the same. The last thing I want is for them to grow up being one of those annoying copy cat kind of people.
7Too rich for my blood. I am definitely a bargain hunter when shopping for my twins. There are so many knock-offs for reasonable prices. And even if i were wealthy, it's ridiculous to pay insane amounts of money for something a child will outgrow so quickly.
8Also various companies probably send free samples as advertisement on a celeb tot, so we need to be mindful that the rich celbs probably didn't even buy them but are using the free stuff they got from this-and-that designer (I would use them for my kids too, if I got them!)
9LOL, I can't bother to pay attention to what Celebs use, let alone give two thoughts to it. I just don't care. I mean, just because they are a "celebrity" doesn't make them superior in anything, including choices of items/products/ect. for their children. The only difference is that most have a rediculous amount of money to spend on things.
10I enjoy seeing what celebrities buy for thier kids. And I enjoy luaghing at them for the prices they pay. My opinions and purchases are not swayed one way or the other by what they do.
