The Internet is abuzz over this House of Dereon ad.
Owned by triple-threat Beyonce Knowles and her mother, Tina, the fashion house has taken a provocative approach in advertising their tot line to say the least.
But in this case, with lil ladies glammed up in high heels, leopard hats and overly appliquéd denim, it appears that mama didn't know best.
The outfits look more fit for street-walking than the playground.
Do you think these fashions are age appropriate?

This ad looks like a joke---kids in costume, no?
1Either way the clothes are horrible ugly.
I do not wish this line well.
So disturbing. I wonder sometimes about all of the levels of approval products have to go through and all the people that have to green light a horrible idea before it comes to fruition. What were they all thinking?????
2It confirms the image of the label as beyond tacky but it surprises me that such ads are even allowed
3ProstiTots! And high heels are never appropriate for the pre-school crowd - seriously, I dont even wear heels that tall.
4What on earth were they thinking? Beyonce wants kid now to look as tacky as she does which is all the time. Waste of advertising space.
5She should be ashamed.
6Nice heels!
Can't wait to see her line of thong bikinis for tots.
7looks like kids playing dress-up to me.
8The worst thing about this ad is that the clothes are ugly. Why are people always looking to turn nothing into something?
9There's not enough money in this world to make me want to put those glorified rags on my child.
10is that girls seriously wearing heels? oh man, this is just ridiculous.
11Since when did we want our six year olds looking like 16 year old skanks? What kind of message does this send to little girls? This is how you need to look to be cool. UGH. Not even remotely cute.
12They should market these as clothes for girls in over the top beauty pagaents. That ad is so creepy.
13~ excruciating tackiness ~
14This is like Bratz, only in real life and kind of unsettling
15The little girl has on heels that are 8 times too big for her. They're supposed to be playing dress up. Geez.
16dress up, whatev....it's tacky...look at the clothes, the tackiest
17I'm with Twinkle.
This is too much for kids who should be able to play and have fun in their clothes. Not worried about twisting an ankle on the playground or getting playdough on their sequins
18The worst children clothes ever created
19def tacky and costume-y. i don't know about inappropriate though, they look more like they are playing dress-up than walking the streets. they were trying to go for the lux-casual look but it ends up a bit ridiculous. :/
20I thought it was dress up and it was meant to be fun for the kids. Maybe I was looking wrong.
21Well if the goal is to look like a hooker from 1986, mission accomplished. But there's not a chance in hell that I'd ever purchase anything like that for my daughter, dress-up or regular clothes. ProstiTots and Bratz in the real world are perfect descriptions.
22Super-tacky, even for dress-up clothes.
23I don't think Beyonce and her mother have the best fashion sense for any age. I think her adult clothes are a joke, too.
24I guess if you're into that thing for yourself you would probably abuse your child by making them wear it, too.
It's not really risque, IMO. But I don't have kids, nor do I really want to ever.
LOL! Are you serious? These clothes are cute! Fun and funky. They're out of control in a cute punky brewster nothing matches way. Am I dating myself now? Oh dear.
No but seriously, I would never have thought anything of it if I'd seen these ads somewhere. This is what Kimora's kids' baby phat line is kind of like, too, no?
If I was a lil one I'd prob love these clothes.
25How are these cute and fun? the little girls are in heels, with tons of makeup on, its not set up as "we are playing dress up" and I grew up with Punky brewster too, she didnt look like a hooker.
Take away the "diamond and pearl girls from a prince video" makeup and hair, the high heels....than maybe i would say its okay.
26Not shocking. Beyonce has never struck me as tasteful.
27Tacky and totally inappropriate. Not to mention pedophile bait.
28You have to wonder, though, what the parents of these girls were thinking?
Wait a few years. When Beyonce has her own kid(s), she'll look at these and be totally ashamed and just as disgusted as we are. Hopefully.
it always freaks me out when kids dress or are dressed up as a grown up. i dont think i really like these, the kids wearing heels, and the girl has her legs crossed peering over her shoulder like a older model and has a handbag. lv beyonce but not a good advert....
29These are just tacky and ugly they look like puke on fabric, these clothes would not look good on an adult but on a child, oh my, I hope she hires someone to dress her kids up when she has'em because she needs all the help she can get. Whats with the heels and the make up. These clothes are like shrunken version of the adult clothes, most of which I dont find appealing!
30Aww. look at the baby trannies!
LOL
Those clothes are beyond tacky, and the heels? I have no words.
Shame on them.
31I don't think it's that bad. However, it's kinda inappropriate that the child is wearing heels.
32Not racy....just Tacky
33Hate to say it but something about the line just screams Jon Benet Ramsey...These clothes are horrid and tacky and I would never ever put my daughter in these clothes.
34Those little 7 yr old models have a sexy come-hither look on their faces. Was the photographer telling them to "work it"?
35IT'S JUST WRONG
36These look very tacky. And why heels? You can't play in those heels...
37there are better clothes for kids out there, not this line of clothes
38I would never put a 5 year old in heels. This is just bad...very bad.
39Yuck!
40Maybe the heels are only for the photo shoot and weren't intended to actually be worn by little girls - but the clothes themselves aren't attractive. Not even sorta cute! Plus they look really stiff and uncomfortable. I don't think any of the kids I know would (first) wear them because they're ugly or (2) keep them on for even 5 minutes because they look so uncomfortable!!
41is this an ad from the 80/90s?
42So so sad. A pedophiles dream, this ad is. I am blown away that this ad ever got out.
43These ads (and clothes) are absolutely NOT age appropriate . . . they looks like BRATZ dolls (I HATE those dolls) and we all know what those dolls look like.
44They look like child hookers o-o
45So Tacky.
It comes as no suprise though, since the adult Dereon clothes are just as hideous.
46Is this what "To Catch a Predator" has done to our society. Turned people into paranoid head cases who think even playing dress up is sexual and "pedophile bait". Look at what the media has done to you people. I used to play dress up with my mom's clothes and makeup when I was five and I tried to do model poses from the magazines in the mirror. If you are looking at this ad and seeing sexualized little girls there is a problem, with you.
47The only thing I find offensive in this ad are the horrible clothes.
Those children look like real-life Bratz dolls. If I had kids, I would never dress them in these clothes.
48crap
