Goddess of blogging Heather Armstrong chatted up her site Dooce with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb on the Today show this morning.
Heather often writes about her daughter Leta in regards to everything from potty-training to Halloween costumes on the site. And Kathie Lee told the blogger that this worried her.
I thought it was an odd comment for a woman to make who is famous for carrying on about her son Cody on national television for years.
Does Kathie Lee live in a glass house and should she hold her stones?

Not that I ever watched the show, but she is definitely a pain in the butt, and I wouldn't put it past her at all to get all uppity at people for doing as she did.

3I vote "other" because I don't know what she dished on and what she didn't in the past but she generally just drives me a little crazy.
I don't think she's a hypocrite per se. I think it's more likely that she views the general television audience and the general Internet audience differently. She thinks we're creepy.
4this is the same woman who says "everyone can have what frank and i have". she doesn't live in reality. she has worked hard but haven't we all? she's been very lucky in her life. she could be a little more humble and reflect on her gifts a bit more.

6If anything, what Kathie Lee did was more dangerous, since she was so high profile. Me mentioning my kid's name and habits on a blog isn't going to attract all that much attention, but EVERYONE knew who Cody was thanks to Kathie Lee.

9I have been reading Dooce for years..I adore her...and Kathy is a hypocrite to the max.
10she probably thinks meeting people online is 'weird' too. i think she has outdated views when it comes to the internet.
11i've been hooked on dooce for a long time and i LOVE her and do not think what she is doing is wrong or "crossing boundaries" or whatever. a million people write blogs every day about their lives and their families. heather is hilarious. kathie lee is an imbecile.
