I was flipping through a magazine recently and flipped out when I saw this fabulous swing set.
Made by CedarWorks, a 27-year-old company based in Rockport, Maine, the set is made from 100 percent northern white cedar, which is known to be splinter-free. To see its only drawback, read more.
The swank set is part of the company’s Serendipity Series and includes gazebo-like play stations, multiple slides, a variety of swings, a sky bridge, a steering wheel, a spyglass, a rope ladder, and whimsically cut-out walls and roofs.
The only downside is the price — a whopping $21,850! It's nice to fantasize. Maybe I'll buy it if I win the lottery.
If money were no object, would you invest in this lux item for your lil ones?

It sure is a gorgeous play land. The price tag is prohibitive.
1I think you would also have to have sufficient land to put it up. My backyard isn't big enough for this.
wow, that is beautiful. if I had the money and the space, I would buy it.
2my kids would love that!! back in indiana, that would of fit in our back yard. if money was no problem and i'd had space to do it now, i put one up in a heartbeat. it looks so fun, i'd play on it!
3Wow that looks like so much fun! My parents are getting something similar for my nephews (from Lowe's). It has all those components and you can add and take away what you don't want. Then you can add stuff on at a later date (like draw bridges and fire poles etc). My parents live in a rural town with 2 acres of pretty secluded land right on the edge of town (beside a creek too!). I am super excited about playing on it myself and I'm 21!! lol
4awesome. there use to be a place by us called "artopia" that had an indoor play structure like this but it looked like it was made of trees. one of the slides was inside the "trunk" of a tree. my kids loved it. but it went out of business. when they closed i called and asked if they were selling the stuff and was told i was number thirty-something on the wait list. so much for great ideas, lol. never got a call,
5Holy crap, my jaw dropped when I saw that price tag!
6That's more than we paid for one of our rental properties!
7Its nice
8I just paid through the nose to have a real yard in the Boston area. No way will I be filling it with huge, semi-permanant playthings that the kids will be tired of after two uses, and that give us excuses to not socialize with other children and parents. I'll take the local playground, and a back yard that is pretty! But if my local playground wanted to put this in ... well, that would be nice! I just don't see why every house on the street practically has its *own* playground!

That's just a few thousands less than it cost us to finish our basement! Is that price really
necessary?
10Gorgeous. I'm going to have to show this to my Dad (he's in construction) and hope he'd build something similar for Brody's birthday!!
11I'm a new member but work for CedarWorks so I had to jump on this one and vote YES! I would totally buy this. Lol
I also wanted to speak on behalf of CedarWorks and say we have beautiful swingsets at a variety of pricepoints. While we do have some premium luxury sets like the Serendipity set posted, we also have more modest sets that he average American can afford.
So, another yes vote, if I had the money I would totally buy this cause I know it's the best!!!
