Postpartum depression has no bounds affecting everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to the general public. For some women it can be debilitating, even down right frightening.
But, once a mother returns from the wretches of depression to a more regular life, does it make sense for her to have another baby?
Brooke Shields took that chance, would you?

I had PPD pretty bad with my first baby but not at all with my second. It's definitely worth the risk.
1I said yes, it's worth the risk, if you know to be prepared in advance and have treatment ready for after the baby is born. I did not have PPD, but I had anxiety with dizzy spells, muscle twitches and some other scary symptoms. There were times when I felt like the floor under me was inclined, like when being on a boat. I thought I was developing MS and saw all kinds of doctors, but nobody could tell me what it was. I went through a few months of hell. I hope that when I give birth to my baby this time I will not experience anything like that or worse.
It is very scary, so I can see why someone might just decide not to have anymore
children, depending on the difficulty they went through.
2I had after my second son, I would just stop, sit down and bawl my eyes out for no reason. But then I also knew I could get the help I needed after having my third. Since I knew what to look for I was better prepared.
3I don't have kids, but I know when I do i'll have a lot of help if this happens to me.
gotta love family
4Absolutely worth it. With the kinds of medicines and therapies/therapists they have these days it makes it pretty easy to get the help you need if it happens to you.
