You'd think that packing on the pregnancy pounds would keep clothes snug, but around the third trimester, pants, shorts, and skirts forced on your hips by your ballooning belly tend to head further south. And this makes walking without tugging almost impossible.
Did you find yourself yanking up your trousers?

I've actually never heard of this...
1I didn't know this was an established phenomenon, but I am experiewncing it right now!
2Non maternity clothes are too snug--maternity pants just keep sliding down. I'm constantly pulling my pants up over my belly to stop them form dragging on the ground--or falling off!
It's driving me nuts.
Every time I wore my maternity jeans I had to keep pulling them up, especially when I stood up. It was very annoying.
3Some of my under the belly maternity pants were impossible to keep up throughout the entire pregnancy. I really started thinking about how they were even supposed to work conceptually. Unless you have a giant bum and hips how are they supposed to stay up? I did however have two pairs that were under belly as well but had thicker elastic, while they did an *ok* job of staying up, most days they made me want to throw up. Actually anything too tight around the top or bottom of my tummy made me want to hurl. The Bella Band was such a fantastic concept but didn't work for me while preggo. It did help with post baby clothes though.
4It wasn't seven months for me, it was more like 4, but this is my third.
