As I've mentioned, I am starting to potty train my lil one by getting her excited to pee and poo. A funny thing to get your kid psyched about, it's a necessary evil on the road to diaperless freedom.
The one drawback is that my mom–me time in the loo is mine no more. My "wee" one follows me into the bathroom each and every time I go. To see what she does behind closed doors, read more.
A tad humbling at first, it is now a joyful time for the both of us. She sits on her potty while I sit on mine. And like her father, she has taken to reading books on her throne.
While I only intend to spend a few seconds there, we typically thumb through a few board books before she's ready to bolt. And, it always makes me smile to see her little red–ringed tush after her long stint on the seat.

4Oh boy....sadly this is usually the only mom-me time I get and the only time I get to read anything. lol. Thankfully we're a long way too potty-training.
