Last week, Ramona's antics and Avery's reactions stole the show on The Real Housewives of New York City.
But this week, it was Jill Zarin and her 14-year-daughter, Allyson that were the focus. And, more than the Manhattan mommy shipping her girl off to a detox center to improve her arthritis (read: lose weight), it was the odd pressure she puts on the teen to have a relationship with her step-dad, Bobby that made me uncomfortable.
Do you think it's fair for Jill to force a relationship on Bobby and Ally?

First off, I want to say I like the Housewives of Orange County way better. These people rub me the wrong way for some reason. Ramona is rediculous. I can not stand her at all. I feel so bad for her daughter. As far as Jill's daughter goes. I honestly don't see anything wrong with what they did. The girl is 14 and she wanted to go. Seriously, you can tell Jill really loves her daughter and all she wants is for her, her daughter, and husband to be a close family. The daughter was also very happy when she came home and I think any mother would love to see their kid happy!
1Ditto DreaAST!
2I didn't think Jill was pushy, but it does seem like there is not a very warm relationship between the daughter and the stepdad. I get the impression that she is just trying her best to bring them together.
3I completely understand Jill and her wanting to put her husband and children together because that what my mom did. Like romaniagrl said she just wants them to be a happy family!
4please the first thing Jill said to her daughter when she came in the door wasnt "omygod i missed you" it was "let me see" meaning "let me see how much weight you dropped" can Jill go to detox to get rid of her nasally accent and horrible bangs?
5I was getting tired of Housewives of O.C. Living an hour from O.C. makes you that way.
