she said:
"After being the target all week of slanderous and degrading stories, horribly manipulated pictures and articles in the media, I have had to show my cards and announce under the gun and under vicious personal attack that I am in fact pregnant," writes Presley on her MySpace Celebrity blog.

1after all that has been said about her and her family WHY does she suddenly give a crap? if she had said nothing and just waited she would have had the last laugh down the road when she just showed up with an obviously pregnant belly. and honestly if she weighed 300 lbs is it anyones business? by commenting she just gave the media power.
2In my opinion, by commenting she is pointing out how ridiculous the media's power on the subject is.
3I liked her statement. It's so inappropriate for the media — or anyone — to comment on and critique a woman's body like they did to her. So what if she's gained weight? So what if she's pregnant? Ugh, I can't imagine how awful it must be to have people nitpicking your body like that... good for her for sticking up for herself.
4I think she overreacted and would have been better off not saying anything at all.
