Jennifer Wolff, a 24–year–old New Jersey nanny recently admitted to using anti-allergy sedatives to drug the juice of two boys, age three and one. The caretaker told the court she was tired and worried that she might not be able to handle the tots.
Seems a career change may have been the smarter decision. To find out what happened, read more.
According to reports, "The nanny pleaded guilty to third-degree child endangerment Wednesday and faces up to 180 days in jail under a deal with prosecutors." The incident came to air when the children's mother tasted the juice after her babe began calling his bottle a "medicine bottle."
What would you do if you found out your nanny was doping your wee one?

omg. seriously, she should've left her job or something. w
1What would I do?
I'd probably hurt her. I hate to say that though!
Definitely press charges.
2What is with these people (this nanny and the school teacher from yesterday) who work with children but have no patience nor the ability to handle them?
3GirlC,
4It just doesn't make sense does it...
I would have a very hard time waiting for the cops to arrive. I would slap that b*tch so hard then I would kick her a**! People like that just piss me off.
5so upsetting.
6That is unreal. You just never know what you're going to get these days.
7The nephew of my brother in law was given Valium by the nanny, so I can believe everything!
8How often was she using this method if the child had a name for it?!
9I hate to say it, but she would be getting lots of sleep because I would have knocked her ass out myself. Sounds bad, but I wouldn't be able to help it when it comes to my kid.
10yikes, if the kids calling it a "medicine bottle" sounds like a pretty regular thing. hope they aren't damaged by that stuff.
god, i'd be so upset if that was my child. sadly a lot of people that care for children do so not because they love children but because they need the money.
hope she doesn't ever get to be a nanny again.
11Hmmmm. I find this interesting because just a few months ago there were tons of people on here saying it is okay to give a baby Benadryl for a flight to calm them down.
I agree this is a form of child abuse, and would never give my child anything that they did not medically need.
12However, I know there were people on here agreeing with this method of "child care" was acceptable.
That's what came to my mind, JennyJen. I remember that too, and I couldn't believe how many parents found it acceptable.
I don't trust anyone with my kids except myself and my husband... this is why.
13That's really scary. I do however think something that happens so often that the kids have a name for it is a bit different than what the flight post was talking about, also with very different intentions. I find it so scary how many people get into lines of work that involve children when they don't love and adore kids.
14What would I do???? What WOULDN'T I do, is a better question!! GRRR!!
15God, that's horrible!
I don't think you can compare a nanny giving kids Benadryl so they don't bug her on a daily basis in their usual environment to a parent giving their child Benadryl to calm them on an occasional basis in a stress inducing environment with no possible escape route.
16As a nanny, I really really deplore people who willingly endanger children just so they will be easier to raise. Parenthood isn't easy, so neither is being a nanny taking care of the children. If you can't handle the job, then do something else.
17She must have been doing it A LOT for the baby to learn to call it a medicine bottle. That is disgusting! I am a nanny and I cant even bring my self to the thought of doing something like that.
