There's not a chance I'd hand my babe over to teenagers so they could play house with him in front of television cameras. Call me crazy, but I'd also never sign a consent form for my kids to go to Bonanza City and start a "kids only" pioneer town, though I admit the concept made for some pretty incredible episodes of Kid Nation and I was awed at a couple of those children.
So, I'm hoping tonight's episode of The Baby Borrowers also proves me wrong. To learn more about this new reality show, read more.
The premise of NBC's new show is to take five young couples and thrust them into the real world by giving them a house to live in, followed by babies, tots, school aged children, preteens, teens, pets and elderly people as charges, but this clip seriously scares me.
Would you lend them your baby?

Definitely not strangers. But I would let my teenage cousin (while under my aunt's supervision) watch my son overnight so she could see how it's very much not easy to be a teen parent.
1Ok the schoolagers/teenagers ticked me off. So what did the producers tell them to act like major brats. I would have called the cops on the teenagers or tell the camera people this is not even close and to put a stop to it.
2what will they come up w/ next?
but in answer to the question...NO. I would not let a couple of teenagers care for either of my children day in and day out for 3 days straight. No way, No how.
3I can understand having the teenage couples care for infants and toddlers to teach them what it is truly like to have a child at thier age. but why would they have teenagers care for teenagers? that's not like real life.
techkim, I agree...they def. had those kids act worse than they normally would've for publicitiy purposes. makes me mad, too.
TP-ing the yard?!
4How did this already air? They're promoting it like it's starting this summer... is it a new season? I am beyond confused
5lacey72 — the show actually never aired before. NBC changed it last-minute. It's supposed to finally be starting next Wednesday (June 25).
6Sounds silly!!
