10 Reasons I Love Being a Working Mom
Raising children and pursuing a career is a juggle for any mom. And, those who say it's a cinch are either lying or have lots of help! But there are wonderful perks that come with hard work and fulfilling dreams independent of your children. Like my kids' first steps and words, I celebrate my own milestones (some of which happened once I was a mother) — the excitement of seeing my first byline, having articles published in a national newspaper and moving from print to the online world. It's possible to have a passion for many things and while my family will always be my priority, I love my work. Check out the reasons, I don't
regret not being a stay-at-home mom.

now you make me jealous! i miss chit chat with adults, without having to worry about my child. thank you for these posts...they were both great!
1We own our own company and I'm one of two techs so not working isn't really an option. Fortunately I LOVE my job. Loving what I do an knowing that my son is in really good hands (my mom and MIL each watch him for two days each week) helps me not ever feel guilty. My schedule is pretty flexible and I'm sure that helps as well.
2not good timing: freaking out about having to go back to work full time and not being able to afford child care even on 2 good salaries, with a minimum of 7 hours between us and all family members.
3I loved this!! This would completely erase the guilt a lot of moms about having working. As far as childcare, your one point about seeing Dad is such a good one. If you have to work around each other's schedules for awhile, do it. It will only be for a season and you will find something along the road that works for you.
